Weekdays are fun in Tel Aviv, but there’s no beating the weekend for parties, concerts and other events. This weekend promises to be particularly eventful in honor of Hanukkah.

Don’t forget that the weekend in Israel starts early, otherwise you’ll miss one of the best nights of the week.

The Martinez Brothers at The Block

Truly some of New York’s finest, the Bronx-born Martinez Brothers are one of the biggest acts on the international house and techno circuit, and they’re coming to Tel Aviv’s most respected club for what will no doubt be an unforgettable night funky sounds and dirty beats.

Andrew Rayel at Haoman 17

Orphaned Land at Reading 3

Metal of all kinds, Middle-Eastern folk and Jewish and Arabic traditions come together for a night of musical mayhem in Tel Aviv as Israeli progressive metal  band Orphaned Land take the stage at Reading 3 in the Namal.

Midburn Community Initiation at Florentine Circus

Everything you wanted to know about Israel’s regional Burning Man event, but didn’t know who to ask. There will be a meet and greet with the Midburn organizers and plenty of time to get yourself informed.

The stores may be closed for Shabbat, but the bars and clubs of Tel Aviv certainly aren’t.

Friday Noon Chill at Bicicletta Bar

Okay, it’s not technically nightlife, but there’s no reason not to kick off your Friday early with chill tunes from DJ Asaf Samuel, Bloody Mary’s from the bar and pancakes from the kitchen.

Mind Games Party and Art Installation at Comfort 13
