About Wine Wednesday
Every month, Wine Wednesday brings people from around Israel together to support worthy causes with their donations and, of course, to drink wine… sometimes lots of it.
On September 14, 2016, this Tel Aviv-based philanthropic organization is taking its act global, coordinating with various partners in crime to put on Wine Wednesday events in over 15 cities around the world, each supporting its own local charity.
The one-night goal is to raise over $20,000 for the chosen charities, and the long-term goal is to get more people around the world to adopt the Wine Wednesday model and use it to help their local communities.
If this sounds like your kind of thing — either as an organizer or a participant — check out winewednesday.org and see if there’s an event in your city.
And if there isn’t one near you, go ahead and contact the Wine Wednesday crew to see how you can make it happen.
