While Tel Aviv is known for its club scene and electronic music, the Israel’s cultural and nightlife capital is also full of live music venues of all shapes and sizes. Most of the larger international acts play at Nokia Arena in the winter or HaYarkon Park in the summer, while you can catch midsize and smaller local and international artists at any number of smaller venues, such as Barby, Ozen Bar, Zappa Club and others. Many bars and pubs also host free live music nights. If you plan to explore the Tel Aviv live music scene, expect to find heavy doses of alternative rock, Balkan and Middle-Eastern influenced music, Israeli and Jewish folk and much more.
