Give yourself the best of both worlds with an inspirational and educational tour of Jerusalem’s Old City as well as a relaxing trip to the shores of the Dead Sea.
After an early morning drive from Israel’s western coast, you’ll find yourself starting this tour at the Mount of Olives with a stunning view of Jerusalem’s Old City, surrounded by treasured sites, such as the Garden of Gethsemane, the Church of All Nations and tombs of the Jewish kings.
A short trip down the hill will take you to the walls of the Old City, and through the Zion Gate, you’ll find yourself walking through the Armenian Quarter and past the shops of the Roman Cardo before reaching one of the most sacred places of Judaism, the Western Wall.
From the Western Wall, you’ll make your way to the Via Dolorosa and follow the street in the final steps of Jesus until you reach the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, one of the most sacred Christian places and the site of Jesus’ crucifixion, burial and resurrection. Afterward, you’ll have a chance to explore the bazaars of the Muslim and Christian Quarters before heading south to the Dead Sea for some much deserved rest and relaxation at a top seaside resort.
