This museum was inaugurated in 2010 and was designed by the renowned Israeli architect and designer Ron Arad with a 17 million dollar investment from the Holon municipality. The structure itself is an amazing work of art and was even named as one of the new wonders of the world by the distinguished magazine Conde Nast Traveler.
It combines concrete and red steel strips that were manufactured especially in Italy to form a surreal shape of intertwined wave-like segments. Inside you’ll find two galleries for contemporary exhibitions and another area that’s called the Design Lab – an education hub for design.
