225 NISGrammy nominee and BRIT award winner Kelis Rogers will finally get to take the stage at Zappa club Herzliya February 26 after being forced to reschedule her August 2014 show.
Rogers, better known simply as Kelis, got her start back in the mid-1990s when she was featured on the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s (Z”L) track “Got your money.” From there, she’s gone on to release 6 studio albums, moving from a hip hop and R&B sound in her early days to pop and electronic dance music more recently, while working with numerous top talents along the way, such as Calvin Harris, Bjork and André 3000,
She found mainstream success in 2003 with her third album, Tasty, producing a number one hit with the track “Milkshake,” and getting her first Grammy nomination.
