Port Said

Here’s another one of Allenby street’s hidden corners; just next to the Big Synagogue lies “Port Said”- the hipster sanctuary and a great Mediterranean bar that plays only vinyl records (from their enviable library of music) and serves great uncompromising food (celebrity chef Eyal Shani is in charge of the kitchen) in a laid back atmosphere.

The place is always crowded so make sure to arrive early or else you’ll be sitting on a random bench, sipping beer, waiting to get a table- even though this scenario is quite common and only adds to the magic of this place.
