- Tel Aviv-Yafo
Get an up-close look at some of the most intriguing public and private spaces in Tel Aviv — designer lofts, urban villas, works of architecture, plazas, gardens and more — during Open House Tel Aviv, which usually takes place in May. All of the tours are free, but some have limited space and require you to register in advance. Click on the “book now” link the the photo slide to see the complete schedule and reserve a spot in tours where it’s necessary.
The Open House organized tours are meant not only to give tour-goers a look at the various spaces, but also educate them on the role of architecture in the city’s history and development, such as in the tours of Tel Aviv’s Levant Fair and Ben Gurion’s House.
Tel Aviv is one of a number of international cities, including the Israeli capital of Jerusalem, that are members of the Open House Worldwide organization, which has similar events in London, New York, Barcelona, Rome, Melbourne, Chicago and Athens, among others.
