Dig beyond the hype of Amy Winehouse’s star-crossed life and career by checking out the “Amy Winehouse: A Family Portrait” exhibit at the Diaspora Museum (Beit Hatfutsot) in Tel Aviv.
Get acquainted with the story of the later singer’s life and connection to her family through a collection of some of the late singer’s belongings, including her guitar, record collection and outfits, as well as numerous photos from Winehouse’s life. Also on display, is the suitcase that Winehouse asked her father to help her sort through on the last day they saw each other.
The exhibition was originally curated by the Jewish Museum in London with the help of Winehouse’s brother, Alex, and after a successful exhibition there, also went on display at the Jewish Museum in Vienna.
