The Tel Aviv Opera House will hosting the Russian Ballet Company of St. Petersburg this coming September. The well known and popular ballet company will perform two special productions for a fortunate Israeli audience: “The Nutcracker” and “Swan Lake,” by Piotr Illich Tchaikovsky.

Since its inception in 1895, the St. Petersburg Ballet has been successful in the world of dance. The company’s outstanding performances have earned it a following all over the globe. “Swan Lake” and “The Nutcracker” are considered to be two of the finest classical ballets every seen.

The St. Petersburg Ballet is characterized by time honored traditions, a cultivated style for which Russian dancers are renowned for. The  professionalism and skill of the St. Petersburg Ballet Company, paired with the classical orchestral music by Tchaikovsky will ensure the Israeli audiences a very high standard of cultural experience.

Both performances take place in the Tel Aviv Opera on Sderot Sha’ul HaMelech.
