HaEtzel Museum is a must stop for Israel history enthusiasts. “Etzel” is a Hebrew acronym for the “National Military Organization” and was one of the military groups who lead the struggle for Israel’s independence. The museum is a treasure trove of information on the era before the establishment of the modern State of Israel.

The Etzel Museum focuses on the history of the Etzel, from its clandestine activities to promote Israeli independence, until its inclusion in the Israeli army following the UN decision in 1947. The museum offers a wealth of information on this tumultous era. There is also an interesting tour of one of Tel Aviv’s nicer areas. The museum is located on Goldman street, near the Charles Clore Park.
