The story of the Jewish people is quite a remarkable one. Having been exiled from their land and scattered all around the world for more than 4000 years, they have managed to keep their unique faith and tradition. One religion, and yet so diversified; Beit Hatfutsot, the museum of the Jewish people, is here to tell this ongoing story- the story of individuals and communities through an exceptional collection of database comprised of images, murals, dioramas, audio-visual displays, documentary films and interactive multimedia.
The main exhibit is formed of 6 different chambers, each one covers a particular aspect in the life of the Jewish people; family, community, faith, culture, living among the nations and the return to Zion.
Bet Hatfutsot holds the most remarkable database of Jewish Genealogy, allowing you to explore your own family history and take part in their story.
This is a unique cultural experience, highly recommended, and you don’t have to be of Jewish origins in order to enjoy it.
