Art Garfunkel, one half of the legendary fold duo Simon and Garfunkel will be coming to Tel Aviv this summer to play Bloomfield Arena June 9, 2015.

Garfunkel rose to prominence in the 1960′s alongside his band-mate Paul Simon, as they became one of the most successful music groups of the decade and a symbol of the counterculture movement. They reached number one on the Billboard charts 4 times with the singles “Mrs. Robinson,” “The sound of silencer,” “The boxer” and “Bridge over troubled water,” and Rolling Stone ranked their album Bridge Over Troubled Water #51 on its all-time greatest albums list.

Following their breakup in 1970, the two both continued making music as solo artists. While Garfunkel never reached the same artistic and popular success as his former partner, he found success over the past 2 decades as a performer, while releasing several albums and reuniting with Simon for live shows.
