- Barby, 52 Derech Kibuts Galuyot, Tel Aviv
Veteran alternative rocker Mark Lanegan brings his unique vocal talent and latest act to Tel Aviv for a much-anticipated concert at Barby on March 23, 2015.
Lanegan earned his chops in the 1980′s as lead singer of the Washington state grunge band Screaming Trees, and when the genre took off in the early 1990′s Lanegan collaborated with various artists, including the late, great Kurt Kobane of Nirvana before the group achieved mainstream success with their album Nevermind. Since the Screaming Trees broke up in 2000, Lanegan has remained active as a member of the Queens of the Stoneage and in collaborations with artists such as Belle and Sebastian’s Isobel Campbell.
