If you hear something that resembles whales talking on August 18, 2015, don’t be alarmed, it’s probably just Mariah Carey showing off her vocal range for the first time in Israel. The concert will take place at Live Park in Rishon LeZion (8 km south of Tel Aviv).
The notorious diva has been a giant on the music scene for over 2 decades, traversing the gamut of musical styles from soul and R&B to pop and hip hop and rarely failing to reach the top of the charts. Her resume includes over 200 million records sold worldwide, more #1 singles in the US than any other solo artist, including “One Sweet Day,” which spent a record 16 weeks in Billboards #1 spot. On top of her recording success, Carey also gave an acclaimed performance as a social worker in the Oscar-winning film Precious.
Seriously, check out the high notes…
