From the mind of one of Israel’s premiere chefs, Meir Adoni, Mizlala combines fine dining with a modern, casual atmosphere and exotic fusions of flavor.
Adoni is perhaps best known as the chef of what many consider Israel’s top fine dining institution, Catit. Located just next door to Catit in the Carmel Market neighborhood, Mizlala adheres to the same high culinary standards, but also branches out with a diverse range of tastes inspire by parts of the world that usually don’t make it onto the traditional fine dining menu.
For instance, Adoni ventures into the realm of spicy Mexican fare with a dish of thin, tender rib meat, frijoles and chipotle cream, cherry tomatoes, grilled onions, crispy potato, smoked cabbage, lia, Crispy onion, peanuts, cilantro, mint, habanero and lime vinaigrette and yogurt served with homemade tortillas.
And melding traditional European with the Far East, he combines Veal scaloppini, Japanese noodles, Hijiki seaweed, Smoked wild mushrooms, Green onions, Buck – Choi, Cashew oyster sauce, Honey, Crème fraiche.
Those are just two items that stand out on a menu full of distinct and unique tastes, but hardly the only ones that will leave you satisfied and intrigued.
