Mike’s Place

Mike’s Place Tel Aviv has been a bonafide Tel Aviv nightlife institution since it’s inception in 2001. Modeled after neighborhoods bars in the United States, it’s absolutely the most popular hangout for American expats, but also attracts foreigners from all over and a loyal local crowd who enjoy the unpretentious atmosphere and nightly free live music.

The menu is a taste of home for American expats, with offerings like cheese fries with bacon, a cheese steak sandwich, hot wings, bbq pork ribs, a selection of Tex Mex dishes and of course, burgers. Lest the British and Canadians feel left out, they also serve up bangers and mash and french fries with gravy. These days, Mike’s place even caters to vegans by way of a tofu burger with guacamole and mushrooms, various salads and veggie tacos.
