You don’t often find vegetarian chef restaurants, but with the rise of vegetarians and vegans in Tel Aviv it was bound to happen. Luckily, Meshek Barzilay has food even a carnivore could love, with vegetarian and vegan dishes spanning the global palette from vegan lasagna, beet tortellini and potato gnocchi to vegan Indian and Asian dishes, veggie burgers, Israeli breakfasts and more. They even make shockingly good vegan cheeses from nuts. And to top it all off, all the produce is local organic.
