The Fishermen’s Restaurant (HaDayagim)

Even after 30 years, this Jaffa fisherman-owned institute still attracts droves of customers every day thanks to its well-earned reputation for serving only the freshest daily catches from the sea.

The restaurant itself is housed in a renovated hangar in the trendy restored Jaffa Port, boasting a décor inspired by the history of fishing, plenty of seating under a partially open roof to let in some of the fresh sea air. An idyllic view of the Mediterranean Sea and the fishing boats docked in the port complete an authentic atmosphere that reflects the restaurants humble, but rich roots.
