The annual Tel Aviv Jazz Festival is one of the city’s premiere events, attracting some of the top established and up-and-coming talent from both the local and international jazz scene.
Some of the past festivals have included performers such as Israeli saxophonist Daniel Zamir, Japanese pianist Chihiro Yamanaka and the US-based Gary Bartz Quartet, among others. Alongside the main performances, there are also free concerts at the cinematheque on the first two nights of the festival.
