In another sign of Tel Aviv’s rise to prominence on the global dance music scene, over a hundred local and international DJ’s will descend for the third year in a row for the annual Tel Aviv Volume conference and music festival, taking place over 4 days and nights in January 2016 and throwing nightly parties at the city’s hottest venues.
The massive event is broken up into two parts: a two-day conference for delegates from the music industry and four nights of parties hosted by local clubs.
The first edition in 2014 attracted over 12,000 party-goers as 110 DJ’s, including 10 from abroad, lit up the city with parties at 17 participating clubs. TAV 2015 was even bigger, as some 30 international DJ’s made their way to Israel for the festival and over 20 of the city’s best venues hosted some of the best parties of the year..
The Cat and the Dog, Duplex, Pasáž, Comfort 13, Deli, Radio E.P.G.B, Ozen Bar, Tachat, Abraxas, Morfium, Ismi Salma, Rubi, Zou Bisou, Cookies Cream, Poli, Jimmy Who, Heder140, Papaito and Ubahn are just some of the clubs that hosted events.
On the conference side, in its first year, TAV attracted 300 delegates from all sectors of the music industry for 30 hours of sessions by 56 speakers on different aspects of the industry. TAV aims to continue to attract even more participation, especially from abroad, in order to strengthen the connection between the Israeli and international electronic music scene.
Stay tuned for more information closer to the event, and visit the TAV website for more information on TAV 2015.
