A joint venture between a group of Israeli restaurateurs and American-born former Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball player Derek Sharp, Shine and Sharp offers one of the most authentic American steakhouse experiences in the city, with a classic design, intimate atmosphere and bevy of fine steaks to choose from.

The restaurant is famous for its aged steaks, which you can see behind glass windows hanging in the meat lockers, cooked in the Josper, a special oven imported from Spain heated by coals burning at 350 degrees Celsius (662 F).

On top of some of the best steaks in the city, Shane and Sharp also serves up a number of other specialties, such as the Chinese crispy duck or dim sum with various meat, fish, vegetable and seafood fillings,;calamari stuffed with shrimp and bread; bone marrow in a wine and beef stock sauce and more.
