Nike’s history goes back to the 1950s with the beginning of running shoe innovation. Today it is an American multinational corporation that is engaged in the design, development, manufacturing and worldwide marketing and selling of footwear, apparel, equipment, accessories and services.

One of the world’s largest suppliers of athletic shoes and apparel and a major manufacturer of sports equipment, Nike was the most valuable brand among sports businesses in 2010.

Nike’s flagship store in Israel is in Dizengoff Center. Spread over two stories and around 600 square meters, on the lower level are running, training, tennis, women and children displays. On the second floor is everything football (soccer), basketball and fashion related with a huge shoe selection.

In the store see items connected to the brand’s history like soccer shoes with Cristiano Ronaldo’s signature, an exhibition of the AF1 shoes, Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv basketball players’ shoes and more.
