With a name that means Happiness Joint in Hebrew, you can’t help but get excited for this simple, yet perfect local street food joint. Mifgash Osher takes the classics and makes them their own with specialties like the sabich salad — 4 falafel balls, a brown hard-boiled egg, cabbage, tomato mixed with bulgur, fried eggplant, and falling-apart chickpeas cooked in an Indian curry all topped off with just enough fresh, creamy labane cheese. If you’re in the mood for pita, though, you can try their sabich with sweet potatoes (instead of fried eggplant) or sabich-falafel combination sandwich, the “sabilafel.”
