Owned and operated by a collective of Tel Aviv DJ’s, artists and other figures from Tel Aviv’s nightlife seen, Kuli Alma has become one of the hottest alternative clubs in the city and one of the most unique.
Meaning “the whole world” in the ancient Aramaic language, Kuli Alma is an apt reflection of its name, bringing together art forms from across the spectrum in one place. The walls are covered with urban street art and video art projections, and in addition to hip parties featuring an eclectic musical selection of house, hip-hop, soul, funk, experimental and live acts, Kuli Alma also acts as a hangout for the who’s who of the nightlife and art scenes. It regularly features exhibitions by local artists in the gallery space and has a chill, open-air courtyard for sipping on drinks, grabbing a bite to eat (vegetarian-friendly) and conversing with friends and strangers alike.
Here’s a take of the one and only Kuli Alma experience…
