Dialogue In the Dark 

This international exhibition is one of the most recommended and talked about experiences in the Israeli Children’s Museum in Holon (just 10 minute drive from Tel Aviv), but maybe “a journey” would be a more appropriate name for it.

Intimate groups of 10 people, guided by a blind instructor enter a world of complete darkness. In this world they engage in every-day scenes like going to the park, taking a walk through the city centre or sitting in a coffee-shop; these familiar experiences take a surprising turn when our most prominent sense is disabled and we gradually learn to trust our other senses and abilities.

More than 4 million people in 16 different countries have already visited this extraordinary exhibition, learned how to fight social patterns and prejudice and how to turn a disability into strength.
