Eretz Israel Museum, one of Israel’s largest, is a multidisciplinary museum that stretches over an area of twenty acres, and includes over a dozen of pavilions, each stands on its own capturing Israel’s history, culture, archeology, folklore, Judaica and traditional and popular arts.
The exhibitions are both indoor and outdoor with an ancient archeological site- “Tell-Qasile”- that stands in the middle of the premises and dates from the 12 century BCE, revealing 12 layers of different settlements that had lived here.
Another attraction of this museum is the planetarium that offers a unique and exhilarating experience to both children and adults alike, exploring new galaxies, stars and other mysteries of the universe.
Apart from the permanent exhibitions, there are also temporary exhibits that change regularly.
