About Alma (Charles Clore) Beach
Located in the sprawling Charles Clore Park, this beach is one of the calmest and most secluded beaches, favored by families and other beach-goers looking to avoid the noise and bustle of the central and northern beaches. On the southern end, dogs and water sports are allowed as well, and the beach has standard facilities, such as bathrooms, showers and a restaurant.
In the park above the beach, there is also plenty to do, including a cycling trail, fitness area, children’s play area and plenty of grass for laying out. The park is also the site of many concerts and festivals during the summer, including the massive Gay Pride Parade official party.
